After 14 months of work and negotiation, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament finally reached an agreement on the regulation on the professional cross-border transportation of euro cash by road between euro area Member States. EURICPA Members would like to congratulate the rapporteur of the European Parliament, Mrs Sophie Auconie and the Hungarian and the Polish Presidencies for their work to reach a balanced agreement on this text that was necessary for the development of our Industry. EURICPA especially welcomes the provisions of the new Regulation that encourages the use of IBNS.
 
The regulation should be soon published in the Official Journal of the European Union
